Welcome to the Golden Gate Area of Nar-Anon Family Groups
What is Nar-Anon for?
Is someone else's drug use driving you crazy?
Do you spend too much time or lie awake at night, worrying about someone who you suspect may have a drug problem?
Does someone you know have unpredictable ups and downs – often impossible to please?
Do you find yourself making excuses, lying or covering up for someone?
Has it become difficult to believe his/her explanations?
Have money, valuables, or household electronics gone missing without a reasonable explanation?
Do you keep trying to make things better, but nothing seems to help?
If you can identify with a few of these questions, you might be able to find help in Nar-Anon.
(Some of the questions above are from Nar-Anon Offers Hope.)
What is in this website?
For the schedule of meetings in our area, see our Meetings page. That also lists any temporary changes to the meeting schedule.
We are twelve-step support groups for friends and families of drug addicts and persons suspected of having chemical dependency problems. We share our experience – how we have learned to deal with another person's substance abuse. For more information on who we are, see our About Us page.
We have a Contact-Us page telling how to reach us and a Links page to find related web sites.
Mission Statement of Nar-Anon World Service
The Nar-Anon Family Groups are a worldwide fellowship for those affected by someone else's addiction. As a twelve step program, we offer our help by sharing our experience, strength, and hope.
